The US insurance company American General Life Insurance announced a federal court that has uncovered a complex scheme of insurance fraud. Counsel for the company claims that Jose Lantigua (pictured), owner of two stores Circle K Furniture, faked his death in Venezuela using bribery and falsification of documents. Lantigua's son - Joseph requires the insurance company to pay him 2 million. Dollar life insurance of his father, but the insurance company argued that the man is alive, though still not presented compelling evidence. Lantigua is an entrepreneur of Cuban origin. In March 2013 he traveled to Caracas, Venezuela, where he died of a heart attack. He was immediately cremated, and the American Embassy in Caracas declared him dead. Company lawyers, however, argue that documents the death of her husband signed by a doctor, funeral director and employee of the Bureau of cremation without having seen the body.
